Knucklebones or KB for short can be used in the Hunting profession once you get 50 of them and have 15k pebbles. You will be able to do a quest that will reward you with a wild wolf.

Yes! There's a hunting quest that pops up after you get fifty of them. This quest will get you a Wild Wolf.
Or you could sell them on the FM for moonstones and they will probably go.
