I'm too afraid to try. I adore my awesome amulet.

I've done it and nabbed a kapros in under 10min. (I was mentally prepared for a long quest, so that was rather anticlimactic. lol) It only shows up in the Southmarsh region of Murkwood, though, so if you're not grinding there, then you don't have to worry about losing your amulet.

I have as well, but unlike lucky Shadowbanish it took me several weeks. At this point however, i have so many ingredients I could make about a dozen new amulets if I really wanted to. But I don't really feel like hunting for it again.

how do you get the amulet? :o i want a new encounter

(Fluorescent Amulet is from a recipe purchased during the Mining event...requires rare Mining materials and level 30 Crafting, then the encounter can trigger in the Southmarsh if a wolf is wearing the Amulet. The Amulet gets taken by the Kapros and it becomes the Companion called Freed Kapros)

I have one, and craft the amulet on occasion to sell when I get the materials.

Do I have to do anything other than have the amulet equipped to a wolf in my party?? Why does it take so long to encounter one? The other profession companions are SO much easier to get...

You just have to encounter it and win after equipping the amulet to a wolf. Put it on a group of five level 10's and you're good. It doesn't take too too long to get, and you can grind for WW's while doing so.
