I think it would be nice if, like the wheels and pickaxes, we could upgrade our furnace to copper, iron, silver ect. , but maybe keeping the base furnace, the upgraded furnace would just make it faster and POSSIBLY make it so you needed less ores per bar

This would be nice, I'd support it as long as it cost pebbles and maybe the thematic metal bars and not MS.
i'd really like it if we could stock furnaces for more than 6 ingots at a time, i've got a fully upgraded cart and especially with the introduction of gems i often get more than 6 ingots per cart. and monitoring smelting waiting for the right time to restoke it is super annoying, especially since there isn't even a timer
