I just accidentally released one of my original wild wolves😭 she won 3rd place in the pageant and I was going to add in the win to her bio, but forgot about the disappearing keyboard glitch on mobile and turns out the “enter” button on my keyboard is right over where the “release” button is on the wolf page. Add in a double click due to lagging, and instead of getting ready to type in her win suddenly I was watching the release confirmation window slowly loading hoping I could still back out.

I submitted a ticket, but has anyone had any success getting a wolf restored? She is the really the only WW I found that actually looked nice too, I'm just heartbroken:'(

(Also heads up to everyone that apparently there are no safeguards to releasing, since she was decked out in apparel and had a companion attached too)

I haven't heard of anyone getting a wolf restored, but you could ask Quiche to be sure ...

also, i feel like now would be a good time to suggest allowing us to restore a wolf we've released. it can be limited by time, similar to the FR restoration thing.

That's absolutely horrible to hear! I'd be devastated if a misclick had me release a WW that I was working on and proud of. A restoration should be something that this site needs to have asap. It's something that would put a lot of people's mind at ease. On top of having a restoration, I'd love for the release button to be moved somewhere else that is not near the rename button and for there to be a confirmation button upon release before it's actually released.

Tbh - if I accidentally release my G1 ww that I Bracced, I'd up and leave the site if they couldn't restore her no questions asked.

That is horrible to hear! I really hope you get your wolf restored. There have been suggestions for months to prevent accidental releasing, but it's still a thing. I would think that in these circumstances, and with the amount of complaints about the placement of the release button, they would be willing to make exceptions in restoring them. So I really hope you get your wolf back <3 I would be absolutely devastated if this happened to me.

On that note, I'm really hoping more people go and support the suggestion threads "Locking Wolves From Being Released", or "Should not release wolf wearing apparel or familiar" so something can change ^^' especially if the staff won't restore the wolves.
