So I just got a successful wild wolf encounter, but I didn’t have any den space, so I just… didn’t get the wolf. Or even a knucklebone token. Or anything.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

And if not I feel like there should be. Like if you got a wild wolf and didn’t have enough den space you should get enough tokens for a wolf so you can trade them for one later when you do have space. Because this just feels like a cruel joke. :(

There's no way to fix it, it's like a punishment for having our dens full. Some members, myself included, think that we should be given an option to purchase den space when we get successful encounters. That way we don't lose them.

Unfortunately this issue went "unforeseen", and still has not been rectified despite long-standing suggestions to the contrary.

All you can do until enough people complain about losing encounters and the squeaky wheel finally gets greased is ensure you always have a few open slots if you go off to campaign.

The ability to choose between buying a slot or just getting 50kb tokens would be great, and also solve the problem of a very new player with not much of either den space or pebbles still being able to get their ww encounter via hunting, while not really impacting the already-dirt-cheap KB token prices much, even if people were to start intentionally campaigning while their dens were full to get more tokens. All it does is delay the encounters, the sum total WWs on site is still 1:1. The only benefit is making one of the main gameplay loops less frustrating for people who are supposed to be getting won over so they want to keep playing. :P

I really hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later, because this really is like the cruelest joke. Literally failing the encounter would have been better, because then I would've been one step closer to a wild wolf.
