Please LW you are stretching my brain to it's absolute max capacity sometimes trying to figure out the date on LW.

Support. Perhaps even on 'hover over' that the complete date and time pop up, but due to timezones it is annoying to figure out which day it is on LW.
(Adding the timezone for me won't add anything, because I don't know which timezone is which. Plus the only thing it'd tell me is what time it might be, and simply stating the time (as it does now) would be sufficient for that.)

What’s easier, using a time zone converter or ignoring a hover option/the date listed under users online?
I’ve picked up that it was UTC, but only from the discord when people are asking what the date on the site is to double check before they spend their 50 KBS on a hunt.
also examples in the auctions thread of people missing the last day ping because they get confused about what day it is on the site, or people listing their own date/time zone (requiring the time zone converter again).
It’s a small QOL suggestion that I can’t see interfering with anyone’s UI preferences.
Support because I feel it would be easy to implement and doesn't exactly have downsides. Lorwolf doesn't have to worry about converting to others' times by having a LW clock, and the site already knows what day it is on, otherwise the puppies born/wolves befriended wouldn't have their recorded birth dates. The site has the data, it can't be hard to display it.
I see only benefits from adding the date. No site features are impacted, no users are impacted except for by a little visual number.
For me? Using a time zone converter is easier. I don't expect every website and service, I use, that are all over the world to cater to my own time zone. What’s easier, using a time zone converter or ignoring a hover option/the date listed under users online?

UTC is an immutable standard not dependent on time saving that is easier to convert from and to other time zone with a tiny bit of practice. So no, I don't see it as a useful addition. Plus there are a lot of tools to help with that, online, your phone clock, your computer clock etc. If there was no easy way of doing that, I would have agreed.
On the other hand, I agree that people using their own time zone for auction is a problem. But it's not a LW problem, even with LW date showed you will still need to use a converter for them in regard to your time zone. the only thing that can be done is that as a community, we agree to only use LW time that is common to any of us.
