What was your biggest achievement in 2023?

Now that 2023 is coming to a close, I thought it would be fun to make a little thread to look back on our biggest achievements in 2023! No matter how big or small, it's perfectly fine to be proud of anything you have achieved! Remember to keep the ToS in mind, and do not share anything that reveals any identifying information about yourself or others.

I'll start off with mine!

I finally got full time employment in my dream corporation, and dream job!

I also traveled to Scotland, all by myself for the first time ever, to meet a long time online friend which was a lot of fun!

I’ve finally started taking care of myself..

but also, finished building the enclosure for my tortoises!! It’s 3D printed, has heaters, and the two babies are very happy

After losing a job I loved dearly, (owner of the business made bad financial decisions and closed), I struggled for 3 months trying to find a new job. Today concluded my first week as a manager for the same business because the new owner wanted to hire me back with a $3.25 pay increase from my previous boss. I am so, SO happy with where I've come 🥰

Getting a new hip, so (hip wise) being completely pain free, since 2004.

Also finding the carnivore diet, which has got rid of a load of problems, to the point, I stop snoring, stop making silly noises getting up and being able to put mu right sock on again, (with the right hip fixed). I found out growing older is not an excuse.

I gave more attention to how I am taking care of my guinea pigs and changed the errors of my ways. I began adopting rather than shopping, am taking care of their diet better, and have been trying my best to fix my past mistakes when taking care of previous guinea pigs. My two boys Sir Pancakes and Professor Waffles are very happy to be saved from the threat of loneliness. I cuddle them every day and give them the bell peppers they desire. :)
