The announcement itself was pretty unclear in my mind too, but the fact that the banner disappeared is bad. They should have made some sort of forum post explaining what happened. I get that there's only like two people who do the major work on the site, but if there's a major glitch like this then they should be communicated clearly on-site.

I agree that this should be done. I do not join Discords very often and it feels strange not to tell people unless they're on an external site.

Huge support! I despise discord, and will not use it. It’s unfair to me, and other players who don’t use discord, that all the important/emergency announcements are placed on a platform we don’t use when there’s a perfectly good forum section right here on the website.

I am very confused right now. All I saw was that there's some new ingredients I could buy with cooking tickets, plus some ingredients that already existed but I couldn't buy them before. I see no update or notification of anything, I don't have any clue what changes have been made, I don't know if there's new recipes, heck I still have no clue what guppy bites were when they put in patch notes a while ago that they were added. I hugely support putting all the information on the actual website, because like.... hello?? Why are we supposed to just magically know we need to join the discord server to get any info??

Hello there, looks like a banner was posted up last night at the same time as the announcement on Discord was announced. It was cleared prematurely several hours later, and we apologise for any confusion caused. We will be discussing the communication issues internally, and for the meantime, I will be locking this thread. Thank you for your feedback.
