I know what starting bid and minimum increase is. What is a "snipe guard"? Is there anything else that I should know before opening an auctionhouse? I want to sell my pretty wild wolves with nicely set-up auctions soon! Also, does anyone have the link to the G1 pinglist or WW sales pinglist?

Snipe guard extends the auction ending time by whatever it is. So if someone bids 5 minutes before the auction is set to end, the auction will then extend for the time in the snipe guard. This is usually 1 hour so people can't snipe wolves from others.

I would suggest having a list of items/currencies/off-site stuff you'll take. Typically MS is the auction currency, but if there are higher-priced auctions you'll want to add in what item conversions are at (if you take any) and if you're entertaining WW offers in place of pure/items.

Some people also add wolf demos with a grid to give players an idea of what the wolf could turn into if they don't want to demo it themselves/want a quick glance at gene changes they could make.

People also like to add a last-day-ping list which is a list you post around 24 hours before it ends just to give people a warning that if they want to bid and have the currency, they can.

It's also rare, but I would mention as to whether you're willing to hold the wolf & for how long if someone isn't able to buy it immediately (assuming you want to do holds- you don't have to!).
