Hi @AlphaDawn500 , welcome to Lorewolf! You can release pups that you breed for 1,000 pebbles, so you're unlikely to be able to buy wolves for less than that.
If you do some of the tasks at the top of your page, you should be able to make some pebbles fairly quickly; you can also grow some food in farming. Right now stacks of food are selling pretty well on the marketplace, because of the new Icerun event.
Make sure to keep or sell any wildwolves you come across--those are worth a lot on the fleamarket.
