not sure i'm understanding the Seasonal

I get what it is, conceptually from a lore standpoint, but I'm mostly just really lost on how people are leveling up on the seasonal since i'm still right at level 1 despite doing arena and trial stuff as well as getting vouchers. Is it based on Arena wins or Trial Wins, or a secret third / other thing? I guess i'm just not understanding it from a technical standpoint

I believe it levels from doing the activities -- there's a little button in the top right of the activity banner thing that switches between showing the fishing event tasks and the icerun tasks.

Yes, Morigale has it exactly right! You want to complete the Icerun Seasonal Activities, and each activity gives you 1 point towards unlocking your reward level. A lot of players have had success grouping the activities. Do all the Arena ones, claim them, then you should have a lot of Campaign. Do Campaign, claim the activities, then you should have a lot of Arena, and back and forth. Good luck and happy festival!

Kind of jumping onto this, but on the companions what exactly does "consumed" mean. I don't mean from a lore perspective, I mean from a game mechanic.

I don't think it means anything from a game mechanic standpoint. Its basically flavor text- they act the same way as regular companions gameplay wise.

@Gilneas - The consumed companions have all had one of their psynergies replaced with a new one that has a chance of attacking the party.
