While trying to figure out the arena for Icerun Seasonal, I tried reading the tutorial provided on the main arena page and I think that merging is somewhat poorly explained. To quote the tutorial popup page that explains team building, including merging:
"You will have approximately 30 seconds to select your first Team member for the first round. This Model can be “bought” from one of the four displayed Models in the Model Store in exchange for 1 Paw (the Arena round currency). This Model is then added to your Team. You can refresh the shop in exchange for Paws at any time, and once for free after every round. Multiples of the same model will combine automatically to achieve higher levels, with 3 stars being the max level."
My main issues/suggestions with this specific tutorial page and why I think it's too vague:
1. All actions with set prices, for the exception of buying models, use a vague price descriptor instead of naming a specific value, which, to my knowledge, does not change. "You can refresh the shop in exchange for Paws" and "Multiples of the same model" should be changed to "You can refresh the shop in exchange for 2 Paws" and "3 copies of the same model"
2. The part about models merging automatically in addition to the price descriptor is tacked on in the end of the tutorial page almost like an afterthought, which in my opinion is very easy to look over, which led to me personally thinking I have to manually merge two models by clicking/dragging, the star icon displayed on duplicate models when selected did not help with it. I think either putting it closer to the beginning of the tutorial or, ideally, giving it a separate tutorial page due to it being such a crucial mechanic should fix it.
tl;dr the arena team building tutorial page is too vague about prices and how merging companions works and should be edited to convey their exact Paw cost, with companion merging either being more highlighted or given a separate tutorial page
