While I definitely get where this suggestion is coming from, I think there is two things to keep in mind. One is a player/community set price, the other isn't. They don't necessarily need to match (although I can definitely imagine nobody buying the more expensive one..) Another is people having spent actual money on these eyes, being part of the support bundles. To me personally, it'd be a bit of a kick if they reduced the price without any from of compensation for those that spent money on the support bundles.
