- certain items, such as cooking ingredients, food in general, materials etc.
- Event drops - right now there is an icerun event and battling in the icerun areas has a rare chance to drop event tickets, with which you can purchase limited items. There is also a few event quests that require you to defeat icerun bosses, which can only be found in the last icerun area.
- leveling up; both wolves and companions can be leveled quite quickly in the campaign
- Wild wolves; the 'wild wolf encounter' has a chance to give you a random wild wolf, which in general are popular among collectors. You can keep it yourself or sell to others if generation doesn't interest you. If you fail the encounter, you get a knucklebone token which can be used in the hunting profession (once you have 50) to get a guaranteed wild wolf.
