Welcome to the Nymgryndír pack!
I'll use this thread to keep track of lore snippets and info about my pack and its members.
Very much a work in progress but hey, I gotta start somewhere right?

“The pack of a new dawn”

The Nymgryndír pack lives in the Black Hills of Icerun.
Founded by Yrsa and Fayrn, two devoted followers of Orrin, they work to gather strong wolves and prepare for a potential war against the forces of Chaos.
The pack leaders have visions of previous lives that hopefully will help them learn more about the dark forces that lie doramnt in the waters of Mistvale.

Skyggírgard
"The protectors that walk in shadows"

Although part of the Nymgryndír, the Skyggírgard is located in the Raised Plateau
in Darkspine.
This branch of the pack is led by Njal, son of Yrsa and Fayrn.
The Skyggírgard serve many purposes for the Nymgryndír pack.
- They work toggether with the Protectors Of The Forest to keep an eye on any unusual movements along the borders to Mistvale.
- Training spies and infiltrating the Nobel Elite of Darkspine to gather information of the happenings within the social cirlces. There has been rumors of a group of wolves plotting something agains the Queen after all.
- Sending provisions and timber to the main pack back home in Icerun. This is especially important at the end of winter to help replentish the food storage of the military camps.

Solfarír

"Those that seek the Light"

The Solfaír branch is led by Brandr, grandson of Yrsa and Fayrn. Located in Goldsea, this branch of the pack aims to gather knowledge of anything related to the spirit wolves, chaos and an old magic known as Aura. Their den also serves as a rest stop for Kalahari's traveling merchant caravan when they are in the area.

The leaders of the branches of Nymgryndír are decendance of the founder pair Yrsa and Fayrn. They have two surnames that puppies of their linage can choose to take to represent themselves, Frostwalker and Ironclaw.

The Solfarír leader Brandr chose the last name Frostwalker for himself and most of his heirs chose to go by that name.

Nattdreípir

"Slayers of the Night"

Led by Drifa, daughter of Yrsa and Fayrn. The Nattdreípir lives in Murkwood and was previously a branch of Nymgryndír, but recently declared itself as an independed pack after Drifa felt the calling of Luana and changed her loyalty to the Spirit Wolf of Murkwood.The Nattdreipír is now allied with Nymgryndír rather than part of it, but they continue to have a close relationship with eachother.
This pack was first formed with the intent of gather strong allies amongst the Murkwood wolves and to learn as much as possible about the fighting style of the Slayers, masters of Murkwoodian combat. Being the followers of Luana means strengh if of great importance to the wolves living here, and strengh is something that will be needed if Chaos was to ever re-awaken. Ever since the news of monsters reapearing in the lands reached the ears of the Nymgryndír leaders this mission has been given even greater meaning.
