Volmyr breeding chance ratios?

Question regarding passing on rare species gene to puppies.

Has the chance ratio/percentages been listed anywhere >? We ask as we paired a [ Volmyr x Kit ] thinking it might be a 1/4 chance of a Volmyr puppy. After nesting the dam had 4 puppies that were all kits so it must be much rarer than we thought to pass on the Volmyr species gene to the base game species! Not complaining on the system, just wanting to plan pairs better in the future :>

@0x0 I thought there was a guide of folks gathering that kind of data, but I can't seem to find it so I think I may be misremembering from beta/EA.

What I did just now was check the breeding preview - it shows 4 potential offspring and uses the same rarity/chances as actual breeding. And I refreshed it 19 times (so 20 previews of 4 pups total). Out of all 80 (4 * 20) that I saw, only 5 were Volmyr. Ofcourse this is a very small sample, but it seems that it is about a 1 in 16 chance for a volmyr to be born from a kit x volmyr pairing.

To improve your chances of getting volmyr, I think you will want to try Zerda x Volmyr (1 in ~5.5) or Bracchus x Volmyr (1 in ~8).
