Hunting Trophies and Wild Wolf Hunts?

So I've heard talk about hunting trophies but I haven't seen any way to actually use them... do they help with the harder synergies for the higher level quests?

Also do the Wild Wolf hunts just show up randomly on the hunting quests? Are they a high level?

Hunting trophies are just the items needed to do some hunts. They don't buff anything, they purely exist as yet another requirement for hunts. (Note, hunts are basically not worth the time and energy outside of completing activities)

Wild Wolf hunts only appear once you get 50 knucklebones in your inventory. You get these in campaign via failed wild wolf encounters. It's a mercy system basically.

@Coop7011 is it worth it to do them to level them up or is it better to just ignore them past the daily? (dangit I used moonstones to unlock an extra slot on there! xD)

I wouldn't personally worry about leveling hunting, but it's up to you. Some people actually enjoy hunting, so if you do, go for it! Just don't be surprised if the rewards feel largely sub-par.
There are weekly events that focus on professions and Hunting is one of them, but you don't do this any faster or better by having it leveled up.

Leveling your hunting just gives you access to more, higher level hunts.

I personally grinded through the first 50 levels of hunting and have leveled off around there. The only reason I even bothered doing that was just to generally level up that profession, I kinda wanted to keep everything even at first but after so long it’s a hassle. I also unfortunately wasted TWO unlock slots in hunting lol. I’m sure though that with it being so bare currently, it won’t be long until the devs start finding ways to make it worthwhile! This thought keeps me slowly leveling it anyways

@nikki I hope they do, and it took me way too long to figure out 11/3/95 I was like... november... 39... 2005??... that doesn't make sense... xDD
