1. Based on a previous set of featured items, they remain forever, but they will eventually be moved to the other sections of the mole market.

2. Leather is mostly found through the Mole Market and several hunts. I don't know from the top of my head which ones, but I'll take a look at the guides forum, see if any hunting guide also lists the drops.
