@Starstone It has been a while so I am not 100% on the exact locations, but once that quest has been activated, a new scenario will pop up in one of the unlocked murkwood regions* that will allow you to battle one of the other apprentices. You will need to win a certain amount of times, before you ca return to the very first murkwood area to 'complete' the quest and be assigned a new one.
(*I believe the area that has the scenario for the active quest has a small yellow exclamation mark next to it.)
