Pretty straightforward suggestion, but now that sugar is an item and is being used in recipes it would be really helpful to be be able to grow sugar cane. Right now I'm pretty sure the only place sugar cane is available is the mole market, making it pretty scarce.
In terms of the seeds, I imagine them as having a similar growth time and water and compost needs as cotton, since it would be filling a similar role.
