an issue i keep running into is that the tutorials built into the game are very subpar. the userbase tries to make up for it with making guides (which shouldn't be the job of the users, in my opinion), but then inevitably the users quit the site, while more items are added and changed.
can we please have game guides that are either threads made by staff (so theyre actually updated), or have the tutorials redone to include more information thats usually put into the guides? if the guide was built into the tutorial, nobody really needs to worry about updating a thread.
for example, the state of cooking is abysmal, and a user is left to play guessing games to figure out the recipes, because the tutorial lacks any recipes and the guides are all severely outdated.
there should be basic forum tutorials that pop up to teach you necessary details like the wolf/item image codes. after a year playing, nobody can tell me where to find an items number to use the item code, because no official list exists and we just have to guess thru trial and error.
i know personally as a new user, i was very confused due to "recipe" items not used for cooking recipes to be learned. i kept looking for items like "veggie feast recipe", only to eventually learn that the way to learn recipes is randomly add items to the pot and pray it has a result.
