With the inclusion of more genes, I feel like getting something like this out of the way early might be nice. I didn't see a thread just for this, but that doesn't mean there isn't one out there.
So, I like how we can search for wolves by color range and by individual patterns. It's very nice, and very helpful, but mostly for trying to find something specific. You want a kit with merle under and a black range of colors? You can do that perfectly fine. It's not so good at the inverse: seeing all but certain patterns.
I hate stripes. Nothing wrong with stripes, but I just don't like wolves that have it. It's a personal preference. What I'd like is either:
A) the ability to cut out certain parameters (ex. search for all wolves except ones that have stripes) or
B) the ability to add certain parameters (ex. search for all wolves with merle, timber, brush, cozen, and maned) and only search for wolves that apply to those limitations.
Before this was much less of an issue, because stripes are visibly, well, stripes. You can tell from looking at the tiny thumbnail if a wolf has stripes. What you can't tell, though, is plain. I almost purchased a wolf I thought was a double before realizing no, it's not a double, it's got two plain genes on.
I feel like the easier way to add this would be similar to how FR does it. You want undertides and veilspuns only? You go to their auction house, and on their list of breed choices, you can either pick one breed or keep selecting breeds until you have all the ones you want to search through.
I'm sorry I'm really bad at explaining this, I hope this makes sense.
