Puppy predictor showed pups but...

when I tried to breed the pair after she grew up they showed as 'too close' to breed. Am I confused about the pups appearing in the predictor? Doesn't that mean they could breed?

Here is the pair (I am SOOOOO disappointed and feel betrayed! The pups were lovely!)

Did you preview them as adults while they were pups, save the adult images, and then use those in the pup predictor? Because those would count as a custom (eg "not existing") wolf without any of their lineage information saved.

@Plagueheart Yes... but that should carry from their ID# shouldn't it? Their ID is always their ID. I still feel upset.

I tried them now as adults and they show as unbreedable. All that currency wasted on her... heavy sigh.

Where is the information explaining all this about the predictor?

It doesn't carry from their ID. When you make any change to a wolf and then save the image, you'll see that the Preview button says "Preview Custom" vs "Preview <Name of Wolf>" -- that's how you know it's unlinked from their ID.

Unfortunately it doesn't explain this anywhere; I worked it out from messing around with it.

Coming back to this to add -- I AM sorry though; that's upsetting to have happen & it should be more clearly explained somewhere to avoid this happening.
