How do I get on the G1 pinglist?

Almost every auction I've encountered has a 'General G1 Pinglist'. I want to get on that list because I like buying and looking at WWs, but I don't know how to do it.

Is there, like, a forum where I can put my name or something? Or do I just ask specific users to ping me when they make auctions?

There is a google doc that I believe most people use as the pinglist here, I actually have not added my user to it bc I don't love pings and usually lurk enough to see the ww's i'm interested in, but it's edit-able I believe?
