Fishing Frenzy Question

Hello! Is fishing frenzy a regular occurring event? I only started playing regularly yesterday and I'm sad I won't be able to afford the spinos in shop. Do I need to spend my currency before the event ends or can I safely hold onto it for another time?

you can safely hold onto it and keep saving up! the weekly events are re-occurring and will rotate between professions, so there will be many fishing frenzies in the future!
