New to the game - how does it work?
Came here to check things out, so far I made two wolves and bred them. I plan to have only my starter wolves and their offsprings in my den, or should I? You guys have any tips?

You will need some of the other types of wolves for their synergies if you want to play some of the mini games. Different quests in hunting require different synergies and to reach the highest chance of success you want to match as many synergies as possible using wolves and hunting companions. So you will need to have some of all of the wolves to do this as each wolf type has a different synergy. Also different synergies combine better for the Gauntlet too.

The more you play, the more your goals will change. Check out the achievements for ideas. And you can find guides to the mini games under the Guide section in Forum.

Welcome! :D That is a cool idea, only keeping your starter wolves and offspring! It could be best to plan a separate den for them though, as the last poster is correct about needing all the breeds to really be able to play the mini games properly. Wild Wolves don’t have parents, they could be a good option for you. But they are more expensive when purchasing vs a wolf that has been bred, and especially for an aesthetically pleasing WW, more difficult to obtain. Wild wolves are, very rarely, found in campaign and you can use 50 knucklebone tokens to start a wild wolf hunt for a guaranteed catch. You could also look into using breed changes from the mole market to obtain all the breeds, except Bracchus as those were only sold during kickstarter. Users sell the breed changes for them for -LOTS- but you can find pups on the flea market or forums!
I personally would suggest combing through the Flea Market for a few wolves if you are interested in the mini games :) Users tend to prefer that wolves they sell don’t get released, but ultimately once you purchase a wolf it is up to you what you’d like to do with them moving forward :) There are lots of affordable finds, and you may even be able to find some free wolf giveaways on the forums!
Edited. All that to say, definitely play the game however you choose and if none of this sounds like your cup of tea then that’s that :) Just wanted to be sure you got a good idea of things to make your decision!
