Make the Arena prizes better.

I feel that hardly anyone plays the Arena because the prizes aren’t worth the time it takes to play. It’s a rather long game. It’s fun at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a bit tedious, so I feel there needs to be more incentive to play. I feel prizes could be based on the score you have at the end instead of or in addition to being in the top 5 etc. Say if you end with a score of 90 or above, you should get 10 tickets plus 10k pebbles or ms shards, additional food, apparel. And then for a score of 80 - 90 you get 5 tix plus extras and so on. It would make it feel more worth it considering how long it takes to play. I know it would make me more excited to play. And if more people play, it would bring the community together more.

I agree 100% with increasing the rewards. The combination of the incredibly long time, the relatively high dependence on luck (if the shop isn't giving you the cards you need, well bad luck) and the - putting it mildly - mediocre rewards. I think increasing the rewards is a good way to go for sure in making this part of the game more interesting for players to spend their time on.

I'm especially a big fan of the idea of MS shards also being rewarded, as well as an assortment of other drops (the higher your ranking the rarer the rewards) would be a nice addition.

That being said; not a huge fan of having the rewards depend on the score. From my experience, I sometimes have incredibly easy time winning and end up with 100 health, and sometimes I have to strategize like crazy to just scrape by a winning with just 5 health leftover. In the end it all depends on the luck of the draw of the cards you can choose from. I don't think my effort in the situation with 100 health left is worth more compared to the one where I only had 5 left. If anything, the second situation was harder won and should earn more. So yeah, no to having the rewards depend on the leftover health.

So yes to increasing the rewards to make it worth the amount of time spent in a game. No for making the rewards based on how much health you have left.

While I do agree with this, I recall it being changed because people would start a round, and then not play at all, but still get tickets. That was unfair to those individuals actually playing. There needs to be something in between. Perhaps for every three star you obtain, you can get a ticket too? Would be worthwhile to collect pieces and combine them still and offer a reward for playing more frequently, while also not readjusting the gameplay again to benefit those who aren't playing, or just leaving it untouched in a tab.

I personally find the seasonal arena to be a lot more fun due to the faster pace and better rewards, so I only do arena during the seasonal events and I don't play regular arena. If the time commitment on the regular arena was shortened, in addition to or in conjunction with better rewards, that would greatly improve the arena experience

I wouldn't mind seeing the rewards increase for the people that enjoy it, but I think the increase would have to be pretty drastic to incentivize more people that aren't playing arena right now just because they don't like the timed or pvp aspects to engage, which might be kinda unlikely.

Seasonal arena being available year round (maybe with the larger decks like regular arena between seasonals if they want to make the "difficulty" more in line with the normal arena) would benefit people that don't have the time to dedicate spending on regular arena... It wouldn't help people that enjoy playing regular arena and want non-bot opponents, but it would overall make more people engage with it as an activity.

Maybe making it available all year round with the normal decks would also let some people "get used to" playing it at their own pace and they might venture into regular timed arena more often in the future, if they were allowed to grow confidence in the non-timed arena first?

The Arena takes so... long... and the awards are a pittance in return - the only only point in even doing Arena is for achievos, and most of those can be done during the holiday events when things are SO MUCH faster. i don't - can't, honestly - do normal Arena anymore.

Highly support attempting to make it worth it - and cutting down the time spent sitting there staring at countdowns.

The only thing they changed to combat this was making sure places 9 and 10 don't get any rewards (they did get 1 ticket before I believe). Improving the rewards for the other spots, especially the top 5 or 3 wouldn't influence people just starting a game and not playing at all in any way as they are guaranteed to end 9th and 10th.

I really like the idea of a non-pvp arena available year round (and awarding regular arena tickets) so that you don't have to spend a solid half hour playing something so slow.!

As someone who doesn't enjoy arena,
if the rewards were better I would have the fomo worse than I already do

but I cant bring myself to play it as is ; though having seasonal/botted & untimed arena around year round would be a better alternative to me , cause at least then I can finally work toward the companions
Cause as it stands currently, they feel unattainable.
