I mean, if the underlying rate is 5% the law of large numbers suggests it will be less and less interesting to view as we get more and more data but... as a data enthusiast... 🍴😋🥄 i'm ready to eat it up

@AstannaHoffeen Wild wolves can be found in the Campaign! The encounters are rare and bringing home a friend is even rarer, but you can check that you're in the right place to find them by looking for the WW encounter in the list of possible scenarios for the Campaign area. Not every area has the ability to generate WWs!

Hi, I have a question about not the rates of befriending a wild wolf from encounter -- but what is the actual rate of even just encountering them at all? I know the rate is low is very low to befriend them, but is it also very low rate to encounter them at all?

Here is some numbers I did because I saw on another thread someone felt unlucky not encountering a wild wolf for 20-30 encounters (like just to see it, not to befriend it) and it confused me.

I checked my achievements and I've had:

• Complete scenarios while exploring in campaign: 1238
• Explore with a party of 2 or less: 1022
• Explore in Campaign with a party full of wolves: 803
• Explore with a party that has 2 companions in Campaign: 558

So that = 2,383 explores. And 1,238 scenarios within those explores.....

But I have encountered only FOUR wild wolves...

From your data on befriending them, would you say this is regular rate for just seeing them at all? Just curious is all lol

(majority of those should be within WW areas; I also have not received any KB while autoexploring (someone said if you auto'd in a WW location, if you did happen to auto-encounter a WW then you'd get a KB token)

@spoot do you have any advice on what I could do differently? or just a matter of waiting on the RNG gods to give me some luck?
