Welcome to LW! It's one of my favorite games, I hope you continue to enjoy it too. For easy money in the early game, check out your Achievements (it's under your Den drop down menu). Don't forget to check back to collect your rewards; there isn't a pop up to remind you when you've completed an achievement.
Something I wish I knew early on was the Auto Feed -- on your den, under Nana, there is a button for "Manage Auto Feed," and that is SUPER HELPFUL to organize your food. You won't want your wolves eating your Farming snacks, for example. But you'll get there as you get into the game!
