Hi, I'm Fava, I just started yesterday and I can already tell this is a great game! I'm a bit lost as to what I should do with certain stuff, so if anyone has any tips, I would gladly take advice!

Welcome to LW, Fava! So glad you're having fun already. ^^
A great place to start is in your Achievements under your Den tab. The starter achievements will guide you around the site and its activities. Plus you'll get rewards like apparel and currency -- worth it! Campaign is the easiest place to begin leveling your wolves, and there is chapter 1 of Loria's story there. A bit in every pack. Chapter 2 isn't out yet.
Food and wolf level is probably the biggest hurdle to start. The giveaway forum here has some generous users giving away food and wolves if you need any assistance. And of course, the guide forum is filled with guides about the various aspects of the game and the items there are to collect.

Hi Favabeanz, welcome to Lorwolf! If there are any specific items/stuff you don't know what to do with you can always ask in the forums or scroll through the guides posted in the forums. I've found that the community has overall been very welcoming to new players.

Those tips I listed were all things I wish I knew as a beginning player. I still remember when I first figured out white candlesticks not only can be sold but at a decent price and I had 20,000 of them!
One thing I forgot to add to the previous list was this:
1. Enter a wolf in the Pageant, even you miss the first (or second or third etc) day of rollover! Each time you enter/vote in the pageant, you get free pebbles/ms shards (I'm like, 99.99% positive it's both ms shards and pebbles but I ~might~ be wrong and it could just be pebbles or shards?) The pageant is also a great place to oohh and aahh over all the wonderful wolves in Loria!
