No problemo! If you have any other questions, I'm happy to answer. o7 Some tips that might help you get started:
With cooking, don't worry about most of the complex recipes except to unlock them (if you want to do that). Just cooking raw meat/fish is the best way to feed your wolves in terms of energy gain per cooking slot available at the little lemur man.
To level wolves without using their stamina, there are companions called "basidios" that look like toads. It can take a while, depending on how often you remember to play with them, but it's a great way to save resources early on. I recommend playing with the companions manually until they are level 10 and while you don't have as many wolves, then later by having two regular pebble-giving companions on other wolves for every basidio you use, you can pay for playing with Nana and not lose any pebbles. You won't be making a massive amount of pebbles this way, but the point is just not to lose any.
Then those wolves you can either keep as permanent members of your den and they will help you grind campaign stuff or do the gauntlet or whatever, or you can release those wolves at level 10 to get an item called a "knucklebone". Once you accumulate 50 of these, you can use them for a special hunt that will let you generate 1 wild wolf with random colors/markings/species etc. Or you can sell them on the flea market to other people doing the same, it's a decent way to get a little extra ms.
Otherwise; this is a game where you gotta find your own fun, cuz the devs are not active or interested in their own community at all. I occupy most of my play time with my breeding projects right now, but we have automated quarterly holidays that occur and the next one is in Oct. During that holiday, you can get extra tickets for every wolf you release, so that is a good time to get rid of a lot of excess wolves or breed a bunch of fodder to take advantage of the small amount of extra tickets.
A lot of people focus hard on achievements, but I just kinda of passively let those happen by playing 'cuz if I complete 'em all fast, then there won't be any left for me to do. :P
