1) Gauntlet -- If you can get a team that consistently hits levels 13-15, you'll be getting about 10kp per win which can add up over time. It's easy enough in the background of routine gameplay loop, but obviously not easy to just sit and quickly grind.
2) Manually playing with companions -- much easier at lower wolf count than higher wolf count anyway, but 100 wolves is 10kp for Nana to take care of it, so when you're pinching pennies it can be worth manually clicking through
3) (Biggest advice) Equip Pebble-Generating Companions - The easiest way is making your you have the most profitable companions equipped. I think the 8-hour companions (epic, with a purple border) are the most profit-efficient, and of course also require the least amount of checking in and clicking through (especially if doing manually), but I'm sure there's data somewhere to confirm or correct that. Here's a link to a Companion Guide that also has them sorted by pebble-generating vs not if you need.
4) Releasing fodder dogs -- you receive 1kp per wolf level, so every nest hatched can immediately yield 2-4kp. If you do have room to keep your dogs and level them, you can increase your return up to 10kp (though you have to put in the time to level them, and they take up den space during that time... but they can also have a pebble-generating companion during that time too). Level 10 releases also reward a Knucklebone, which you could sell on the Flea Market for a decent profit.
Get some basidio companions to level 10, along with a few different pebble producing companions. Equip 1 frog and 2 pebble companions with one hour CDs specifically (kapura, crow, whatever). This isn't going to make you a ton of money itself, this is just to keep you from losing a bunch of money to Nana when you auto play with your companions. When you release a wolf that has been passively leveled to 10 like this,
you don't need to spend resources on food to "power level" them
manually. It takes longer, but you can focus on other tasks while you
are passively doing this in the bg.
The money part is twofold; when releasing a level 10 wolf, you get a knucklebone token and 10,000pebbles. The pebbles won't be much at first, but as you save to upgrade your dens and unlock more slots, you can expand how many wolves you are doing this with. My den isn't a good example right now because I'm deep into a project, but typically I will have 1 or 2 dens that exist solely to passively level to release for tokens. 50 of those tokens can be used to grab a "special hunt" where you can generate a random wild wolf, which is nice if you care about that. But generally speaking, the best way to profit from the tokens is to sell them directly. You can sell for either pebbles or moonstones; right now, and crucially this going rate shifts around, moonstones are going for abouuttt 100,000 pebbles each, so don't lowball yourself on accident if you swap currencies.
