I’ve been wondering lately as I’ve read the official lore.

Is Chaosium a direct result of Chaos’ influence on Loria or is it just named for him because it’s black?

I don’t think there’s anything that says one way or the other but it’s an interesting thought.

That's a fun thought. Seeing as there's no real natural metal that is black, though there are some that can be treated or oxidized and turn black as a result like tungsten, titanium, tantalum, and niobium along with a few others, it could totally just be named for the fact that they wanted a fun name for a black metal. Though, I really love the idea that Chaosium is a direct result of Chaos' influence. xD
