So! I got this wolf from InfernoAlpha's recent wolf sale, and the name she came with was Lyra... but I already HAVE a Lyra, so I need to rename her.
And the names I have chosen to probably go with come from Greek Mythology! Specifically either Eurydice (The wife of Orpheus... you probably know his tragedy already, don't you?), or a Persephone variant. Persephone's been called "Dread Persephone" quite frequently in the classics for a reason, and this wolf... well. Can't spoil anything yet!
These variants include classic Persephone, Kore (translates to maiden or girl, a goddess that might've been connected to Persephone).... or Desponia, roughly meaning 'the mistress'- an Underworld Goddess who was so terrifying the pre-Greek people refused. to. say. her. name, because that might draw her attention. So we just have a title.
