So far the charging system hasn’t had any negative impact on normal gameplay after a whole night of playing! Please don’t change it, it is such an ingenious way to combat problematic players without making the bulk of us suffer 😘

And I love that food hasn’t been eliminated as part of it! I’m still hoping for the eventual cooking/stamina overhaul we got teased with a while back but happily and patiently enjoying my new lease on campaign until it comes around! 💕 🥰 🎉 🙏

oh, this is so cool! I've actually been playing more lately. TBH I assumed there would be no more updates, but was happy to plug away since pet-clicking games are a good stress reliever for me.

WOAH HEY what a nice little surprise for the weekend. Really really great to be getting updates again, best of luck and hopefully all future changes and additions go smoothly for ya.

Initial thoughts:

Campaign feels REALLY good now. Love that the page no longer jumps around after each "Explore Again"
Combat skip is fantastic too
Was a bit skeptical about the Explore Charges, but 30 seconds works nicely
Auto Explore is interesting. I'll let it run overnight and document the results tomorrow
Party saver is awesome
Having the Campaign quest dialogue on speed dial is gonna be great for lore writing

Oh, so the site isn't dead?

Not exactly shocked that Alaunis left after all this radio silence. But it kinda feels really ick to just have a major figurehead just up and dip without a single word. It feels like giving the bird, y'know? I've been here since Alpha, so you kinda get why it was all so yikes for all communication to just be cut off out of nowhere and getting info was like pulling teeth?

But I'm glad to see at least someone still cares for the site and that it isn't just dead in the water any longer. Thank you for the updates and QoL stuff, these were much-needed things!

Well, you'll have an uphill battle going to win back most of the trust that was lost since the site launched, but it will be nice to see the site treated as a serious, real job & to have any communication whatsoever-- as long as this sort of effort is kept up, lol.

I genuinely hope the momentum CAN be kept up. I look forward to seeing the results of the hard work, keep it up.

Oh! I'm really happy to see there's an update!

It's totally understood on Alaunis's part, and I do wish them the best moving on. I hope this is really the start of a new, brighter path for LW. I really would like to see this game prosper, it was kinda a very sad feeling ngl seeing the site go silent for so long :(
