Fishing for shards

I'm going out of my mind, I've been stuck at 494 moonstone shards in fishing for the last week and can't seem to get any more. I'm going fishing lets say, on average 10 times a day. I hit most of the targets, I've tried all the locations. I thought I had reached some sort of shard limit so I stopped playing the game except for fishing for the last 2 days, and still nothing.

is anyone else getting/not getting moonstone shards when fishing?

Are you getting shards from mining/cooking/other site activities? IIRC there is a 25 shard limit a day from site activities, so if you're getting them from hitting other parts of the game really hard you may just be accidentally softlocking yourself during the day.

If not, I would say that's a legendarily bad streak of luck & I hope it breaks for you soon. :S I've been getting shards from fishing both via the bear npc and from manually fishing this week.

That doesn't necessarily mean there's not a bug to some degree though, so if there are many people not getting ANY this week, it might still point to something weird going on in the background.

I didn't actually check my other professions, since I only care about fishing right now. I'll try and keep track of things and see where I'm at.
