What happened to the seasonal events?

Sorry if I completely missed something, but I've been away from this game for several months (more like, over a year). That means I should've missed several seasonal pack events, but I'm only missing the companions from the october 2025 event (and I managed to nab a few copies from July's 2025 event). But there should've been stuff for january and april 2026, yes? But I can't seem to find any announcement posts for those events nor do I see any missing companions in the companion overview. Did they get cancelled altogether? Will they come back? What happened?

The site artist was working on items, however, based on their social media they have had some significant health issues that are currently on going. As a result, they weren't completed for Icerun and given their ongoing health struggles, we probably won't get anything for any of the 2026 items. No official announcement, but given the sensitive nature I don't blame them.

Just to add -- we did still have seasonal events in January and April! We received moonstones instead of new apparel/companions and had access to the old apparel/companions instead of retiring the epic tier ones from last year! Hopefully we'll get new ones next year, but take advantage of the chance to stock up on anything you need more of or open seasonal caches while the potential item pool is smaller if you're looking for specific semi-retired items 💖

Oh how odd, I can't find the announcement posts about that anywhere, but it is good to know the events itself weren't entirely canceled/removed.

There was no announcement, or acknowledgement of any kind of course, people had to find out for themselves the way they have always had to up until now. :P

This was prior to JJ taking control of the whole thing, to be more than fair-- so we'll see if we get an announcement before the next one in July about what the plan going forward with this year is or not. It's probably safe to assume the pause on new art this year will continue, if only for consistency, but also because JJ didn't sound like he for sure had artists for new contracts found yet in the new announcement.
