I saw the number spike to over 3,500, earlier. While some players have been returning, the vast majority of these "users" are actually just web scrapers.

Yeah, web scrapers-- the users have always been anyone looking at the site, not logged in users. The average users have been genuinely higher since JJ has started running the whole joint, so you aren't totally wrong, but LOL no we didn't go from ~75-115 to 1,000, more like ~350-450? actual average users outside of these scraper bursts.

@Furuko in a simple way, scrapers are bots that collect information across the web. Usually you'd mainly see bot traffic from search engines indexing websites but lately they've been crazy common because they're collecting text to train LLMs
