Cut Off One Head, Two Grow Back!

Sorry for startling you. You must be here for the bounty I posted. My name is Fern Mosspaw of the Blood Moon Pack and leader of their reconnaissance force. My sister was part of the patrol that has recently gone missing on the border of the Corrupted Spring. I had been arguing with the leaders of the Murkwood Pack to allow me and others to enter the Corrupted Spring to find her, but they have refused, claiming it would be too dangerous. Instead, they decided that quarantining the area was the wisest choice.

Now some pups from a den adjacent to the Corrupted Spring have gone missing. With overwhelming pressure from the public, the Murkwood Pack has lifted the quarantine, allowing us to search for any survivors. Being the leader of the Blood Moon reconnaissance force, I scouted out the Corrupted Spring and discovered that the pups are still alive; however, they are guarded by what could only be a Consumed Hydra!

I am confident my sister is most likely already gone, but I will not stand by and let anyone else suffer the pain of losing a loved one like I have. Facing such a quarry is dangerous, and I cannot promise that those who join the fight will return unharmed. But I still must implore you to face this monster with us. The victims of the Corrupted Spring have pooled our funds together and will be offering moonstones to anyone who fights to get rid of this evil.

These are very difficult. You DO NOT know what synergies to target. And there are often other requirements, such as a pebble buy-in, wolf level, time-limit, etc. The reward is often Moonstones.

1. Your goal is to discover the Monster's Synergies by initially submitting wolves and companions with a broad range of synergies.
   
2. Be sure to review the results of other wolves' hunts before yours to know what wolf and companion combo to try.
   
3. After submitting your wolf and companion, prove their hunting prowess by PM'ing me the Bounty's Cost! Once I receive it, I will post the results of your hunt as soon as I can.
   
4. Fear not if your hunt returns empty! You can submit a new hunting party once a day after rollover, at no additional cost! But do be sure to come back and try again, as this bounty is only available for a short time!

• Battling a Hydra is a difficult task. Perhaps a lorwolf with leadership qualities and whose strength increases as those with the same mentality join the pack.
  
• Hydras are Primal, Primal, Rogue. Consumed creatures lose a part of themselves when they surrender to Chaos. Take advantage of this! Though which part, you will have to determine...
  
• Consumed Hydras are notoriously difficult to defeat. Whenever one head is defeated, two more sprout in their place! Perhaps you should bring a companion that is adept at dealing damage over time rather than decisive blows.

• Monsters have a "Weakness" which is a set of 6 pre-selected synergies!
  
• To get an idea of what its weakness is, you should listen to Ashe's Warrior Advice.
• The first person to successfully submit a wolf and companion combo that has the 6 pre-selected synergies will be declared the Heroic Hunter!

Sakura and her loyal radiant kuzuma ventured to the Corrupted Spring to face the Consumed Hydra. Upon reaching the Corrupted Spring, Sakura is overwhelmed by a sense of dread. She couldn't help but feel watched, although she was sure that she was alone with her companion. Together Sakura and her Kuzuma crept through the misty, blighted landscape of the Corrupted Spring in hopes of finding the missing puppies. They suddenly came to a stop when she heard whining in the distance. Sakura immediately turned towards the sound and set off through the fog. She skidded to a halt when she came across a placid lake and in its center a small islet where four frightened puppies cowered. Noticing her, one of the puppies began to excitedly bark. Sakura leapt into the shallow water and began to swim to the puppies; however, halfway to the islet, the puppy's happy bark turned to a whimper, and Sakura could feel something shifting in the water beneath her paws. Suddenly, a huge fanged maw exploded up from beneath the surface of the water, threatening to engulf Sakura; however, her Kuzuma, biting onto her tail, miraculously pulled her out of danger at the last second. As the long snake-like head surged past her, Sakura leapt onto it and sank her teeth into the monster. Screeching, the monster swung its head wildly, throwing her off!

@Vanda Vesper and her Sleek Vortexcanis heed Fern Mosspaw's call and set off to the Corrupted Spring. She pauses for a moment at the edge of the Corrupted Spring to steel herself before diving into the foggy, blighted landscape. Her Vortexcanis curls around her for comfort as the eerie quiet gets to it. Vesper, not wanting to lose too much time, gives her companion a comforting lick before exploring the Corrupted Spring. Hearing commotion in the distance, Vesper picks up the pace and quickly discovers a Direwolf locked in combat with a huge Consumed Hydra. Vespers howls, drawing the attention of two of the hydra's heads. The hydra snaps forward; Vespers leaps aside as her companion wraps itself around the monster's head, giving her just enough to strike!
