Since the update to campaign, a couple months ago, I can't use it for more than a single full stamina bar, before the site starts to lag and eventually my phone's system UI becomes unresponsive. Sometimes the unresponsiveness is temporary, but occasionally I'll need to reboot my phone to sort it back out.
I thought this bug had something to do with the severe site wide lag, however, it's still persisting, despite the lag fix.
I can prevent my system UI from freezing up, if I only briefly use campaign and space out my usage of it, which... isn't that fun.
What did help (albeit not for very long) was clearing my system UI's cache. Starting from a full bar of explore charges, I managed to deplete 50% of it, before the lag came, and by around 15-20% remaining, my phone finally had a stroke and needed rebooting. It also needed the cache clearing again, as it was still sluggish, even after a reboot.
I've not experienced this issue before or anywhere else. I'm using Ecosia (this happens with Firefox, too) on an Android mobile. System and apps are all up to date. If there's any more info needed, do let me know!
