I went to breed one of my kits, January, and saw that she was marked as closely related to Jasper. Which was suprising, because Jasper is a pure g2 bracc I bought kind of on a whim, and January is a wolf I bred myself, and she's a descendant of wolves I bred myself. But, I thought, I don't own her entire family tree, maybe they're connected through her dad's side, since he came from outside my den.
So I pull up Jasper's parent's profiles, preparing to go through January's tree checking relatives against them to find the point of connection. But I don't even get that far. I glance down at Jasper's father's offspring list and what name do I see - Bandicoot! Bandicoot, who is one of my girls, that I bought years ago when I first started playing, and who is January's great grandmother through her mother (actually entirely matrilineally, all wolves I own as well). I click to be sure and yep, same wolf!
Here's Bandicoot and her much younger half-brother! Despite being years apart, there is a definite family resemblance lol
