Not sure if it's a thing yet, but perhaps flower crown apparel? I think it'd be cute.

For fishing… Loaches! Clown loaches, yoyo loaches, zebra loaches. They would be fitting in Backwoods Brook or a stream environment.

warning/TW: unsure if needed since its already ingame, but these recipes involve eating bugs >_>

hi. ive been researching the use of bugs & other unusual ingredients in irl recipes for my xenofiction book/cat ocs so here you go >_>

all of these are complex recipes

  • Fried Isopods

this could be another food for the gardeners. could also be made with slugs or snails.

usually they need to be washed and then boiled but adding water into the recipe made it a bit chunky

possible ingredients: 2x Eggs, 2x Isopods (any variant), 1x Flour, 1x Oil

  • Moth-loaf

found this one off of a joke website, lol

possible ingredients: Moth Variant x3, x2 Eggs, 1x Wheat (or Breadcrumbs if thats ever added)

  • Stuffed Snail-Tatoes

fictional one i thought up since poatoes arent used in a known recipe rn. this is just stuffed potatoes but Bug

possible ingredients: Snail Variant x2, Russet Potatoes x2, Fatty Meat x1, Flaxseed Oil x1

  • Bug Kabobs

last one… you could also tack on Sturdy Stick/Bones at the end for the kabob sticks

possible ingredients: Emperor Canictonis Bugsteak 1x, Imperial Canictonis Bugsteak 1x, Isopod (any) x2, Snail 2x (any)

end of tw

Really love the game so far! Here are some ideas - maybe not necessarily good ones, but it helps to find what Doesn't work so you can focus on what Does.

1. Gene: Freckling/Ticking

  • Not to be confused with dalmatian spots suggestion; tiny subtle spotting, like freckles, or small oblong spots that follow the direction of the fur. (See: bluetick hound, ticking marking. Be careful googling.)

2. Gene: Recessive

  • A gene that makes the selected color vanish. (Spooky!)

3. Gene: Brindled

  • Brindle pattern - like the existing non-accent Stripes gene, but compressed and very fine.

4. Gene: Paint/Piebald

  • Big splotches of either white or the area color, inspired by the African Painted Dog. (They are delightful little guys, we can all agree on that)

5. Apparel: Leather Armor

  • Probably only best implemented if leather drops become more common, but either a stitched/matte brown version of the existing armors or a new series. (Dyeable? Quilted? Patterned? Y'all have good taste, hopefully this gets the mind going.)

I think it'd be cool to have apparel for the wanderer's charm trinket and its counterpart!

it'd fit the lore for sure

craftable apparel to match the professions - for example a pickaxe and a fishing rod/fishing net
