[This is mainly for the beginning location: Peaceful Pond]

I feel like the fishing mini game should go a little faster, atleast in the beginning section, you get around 10 fish a minute so there is a lot of sitting around doing nothing as you wait for the next fish. It's quite boring.

I'm not saying we should get more fish, but I do think it should take less time to get said fish. Cutting the beginning areas fishing time to around 45s but retaining the ~10 fish per trip, should make things more lively while retaining balance

disagree; on computers, it's hard to get the mouse to the fish in time, and even when playing on a touch screen I still almost miss fish sometimes - and I have only slightly below average reaction times. faster paced fishing would make the game very difficult and not fun for people with slow reaction times.

I would very much like that. Fishing is my least favorite activity because of the amount of time between fish.

ADHD perspective here: I am extremely for this. But I'm also really quick with the mouse. I think a good in-between would be to cut the length slightly and add a sound for when there's about to be a fish so you can look for it, because for right now a silent, minute-long mini-game is my worst nightmare for a website. I hate fishing irl, but it doesn't have to suck /lh

I'd actually like to see both a slower and faster setting available for fishing.

When I'm using a mouse or tablet/pen, I have no problem hitting the splashes as soon as they happen, and it's a drag waiting for the next. But using laptop trackpad, I've missed several fish to the point that I won't be fishing without a mouse again because I can not physically drag my finger across the trackpad with enough speed or precision to click the splash before it's gone.

And I don't have any sort of mobility or reaction time problems!

In terms of accessibility, I'd love if there were options for fishing speeds:

Quick reaction time: 10 splashes in 45 seconds, but they vanish slightly quicker than they do now
Normal reaction time: 10 splashes 60 seconds, what we currently have
Slow reaction time: 10 splashes in 90 seconds, and they last slightly longer than they do now

There would be no benefit to number of fish you could possibly catch, nor would this effect how often you could go fishing, and would allow you to tailor the game a bit more to your actual physical/hardware limitations.
