in EA, I figured out you could earn a maximum of approximately 22.5 ms a week between the daily cap of 25 shards from professions + the shards given for any daily activities + you pageant vote. this doesnt include if you place in the pageant who ever said 3-6ms a day did not math out what is actually possible

eta: personally, I have found 112 shards up to this point (i have 102 in inventory and I crafted 1 ms earlier because i needed it lol)

I’ve been on here a lot mostly doing arena and gauntlet. I’ve been getting about one moonstone a day.

I have bought the starter pack and the membership, however:

I haven't had much trouble earning shards at all. I've converted 4 or 5 moonstones at this point from daily activities, gauntlet, arena, etc. It seems like it is a reasonably balanced little grind, but I'm interested to see how it develops as the game adds more features.

WAIT WHAT- I've been playing LW like a madman grinding for my first custom apparel token, and I've only gotten seven total. Either they increase shard drop-rates and add more pebble sinks, or some serious rebalancing needs to happen when it comes to both currencies.

I've also only gotten about three moonstones a day from shards, but I'd note that as far as giving out premium currency goes, this is actually pretty decent compared to several other sites I play.

It's just not decent when you take into account having to shell out to play parts of the site, which said other sites do not do…

At this point I’m fairly certain the best way to get MS is selling wild wolves, but the price has been slowly dropping over the last few days and eventually is probably going to hit single digits, but for now it’s how I got enough to start making customs. But 90% of other things just… really don’t give all that many. 2-3 a day if you’re lucky.

I think I've been getting 2-3 a day on average, and I play a fair amount. I think I've only sold one thing for MS so far, the rest have been through activities (including a pageant 3rd place win one day).

I too have been getting anywhere from 2 to 3 Moonstones a day and I am not playing in any normal, sensible manner. I did absolutely nothing yesterday except Lorwolf and then spent some time playing Origins while feeling guilty. It took me 5 hours to dress a dragon because I kept getting distracted by Lorwolf. Like, Lorwolf is open and active at all times for me rn so this is definitely not something a casual player can do, let alone get 6 a day. So getting stuff like CATs or any of the exclusive stuff is going to be very very difficult for non-paying players. I suppose when we start selling stuff on the market, then it's gonna be a bit more manageable.

I've been playing a lot, not too much probably but still a lot, since launch and I only got 6 MS (plus 20 from studding one of my WW), I'm not making 3-6 a day for sure.

With literally everything interesting costing a lot of MS (upgrades, scrolls for popular breeds and genes, most of the wolves in the flea market) I too think that some rebalancing could be helpful.
