This is a guide to where and how to grind efficiently in Campaign Mode based on my own experience and research. I’ll update this guide as I do more testing. Feel free to share your grind locations and experiences here, and I’ll use it to keep information in the guide updated.

Update on July 15th best grind spot is The Black Hills in Icerun zone 3 with any lv wolf any breed with a lv 10 canictonis or zapscour companion to reduce food requierd and fast lvl up the wolf while getting fishes drop from lapistrix, isopods as food source , expensive trinkets to sell for pebbles and bones drop from killing lapistrix

Level Grind

To begin, you’ll want at least one high-level wolf. Assign your wolf to your Campaign team, attach a Companion if you have one, and do the Campaign story packs until you have at least one or two wolves at level 6-7.

Campaign quests give insane amounts of experience (XP), so the more wolves and Companions you have in your party, the more you’ll be able to take advantage of that XP. You can even swap wolves in for the quest turn-ins and they will get a big chunk of XP (plus, you’ll save some food).

Once you have at one wolf at level 5-6, you’ll want to grind in Icerun, specifically the second or third sword icon maps (Icerun 2 and 3). The Lapistrix there are very easy targets to kill for XP. Grind until your wolf is level 10. If you need food, check the food grind guide below.

Congrats! Your wolf is now level 10, the current maximum level. Now it’s time to level up more wolves.

Bring your level 1 wolf and its Companion to any of the first sword icons of each pack campaign. If your wolf struggles in combat, just attach a higher-level Companion to it until the wolf is at least level 3 – then you can switch back to a lower level Companion.

My personal favorite zone to grind for food is The Neck in Darkspine because monsters there are easy to kill even with a level 1 wolf and level 1 Companion.

Food grind:

You need food but your wolves are not high lv enough to go to higher zones ? Just grind in 2nd zone of each pack aka first sword icone zone.

My personal favorite place is the first sword icone zone of Darkspine “The Neck”. Why this region in particulary ?

Reason for this is you have 2 different battle encounters and both of them drop insane amount of food and more battles = more loots and exp what not to love ?

You can catch snails and hares for extra food source and before you know it you will find yourself with ton of food. Also if you need bugsteak and folium limbs for cooking this is a must go area

However once you hit lv 20 fishing Icerun zone 2 is the best for food since you get extra fish encounter there

Specific materials grind :

Decide to include this in case someone looking for materials need for crafting and don't know where to go

1. Murkwood 3rd zone , 2nd sword icone “Southmarsh” for strings , sticks, silver bars
2. Murkwood 2nd zone, 1st sword icone “Barboa's Slough” for flour, honey, oil
3. Icerun 3rd zone , 2nd sword icone “The Black Hills” for bones
4. Murkwood 4th zone , 3rd sword icone “Bloodmoon Grove” for most low tier seed bags if you low on seeds and can't afford to buy them
5. Icerun 1st zone , den icone “Frozen Strand” ( thank Wish for location) or Icerun last zone , 3rd sword icone “Chillwind Pass” for all types of dyes from killing deers

Money grind:

New update build for patch 1.1.2 on may 21

Solo builds no longer work because 2 extra lv 14 monsters fight with boss so can only cover duo builds from now on

Icerun zone 4 and murkwood zone 4:

Kit + Jocol with 2 canictonis or 1 canictonis and 1 lunaria

Goldsea zone 4:

2 kits + 2 companions that have intersect as special skill like furmus, lapistrix, brother Perth, Kickstarter krane. Unless rng really bad and 2 members of your team get 1 shoot at 1st turn you have near 100% succes rate with this team. Except krane that need to be at front always put your companions in back line for this team to work

For Icerun 4 and Murkwood 4, using 1 kit and 1 jocol + 2 swan scorpions (1 black and 1 white), does it matter who's up front and who's in the back?
