IMO I think this is a tricky thing to fix.
Ideally? Recipes that you currently can purchase on the MM should be earned/purchased through the crafting profession. This would give more space to have the receipe names listed in full. Also they would be always available to players and doesn't require people to stalk the MM for missing recipes.
If the devs want harder to find recipes they can be given out through events or special explore encounters, quests etc.
An alternative would maybe be including an image of the item the recipe is for, like on the scroll itself? This isn't perfect since it won't reflect the level requirement (maybe they can be color coded?) but it's something! At least if you can see the image of the item you know which ones you don't need to check the name on.
