Cooking & Farming related question!

Forgive me if there's a forum focusing on this already, but I was wondering if foods like broccoli, lettuce, peanuts, and even rice served a purpose for cooking recipes?

Will they be added in the future? Should I just be using these as food sources? I'm a bit lost as to what purpose they serve atm :(

I'm hoarding them atm, only using them for food when I absolutely need them, but if these foods don't cook down into anything, I'll just add them to my auto-feed cycle.

TIA for any replies :)

Edit: Accidentally used an ampersand in the title, sorry (it won't let me edit it away :( )

@nospaces

At the moment, they have no use in cooking. We don't know if that'll ever change. Since you get so many if you stick with farming, I'd recommend adding them to the auto-feed! If they do add recipes, you won't be short.

@nospaces

Wheat (6 sheaves) can be cooked into flour, for what it's worth.

@Ozt

It seems counterintuitive to cook wheat into flour for food, though. 1 wheat gives 5 stamina, 1 flour gives 10. takes 6 wheat (aka 30 stamina) to make one flour :/ only really keeping my flour around for pumpkin pies for Tiny and Bigs

@nospaces It's definitely a faster/more consistent source of flour for pumpkin pies than drops.
