Support! It does feel like making it at least 5k would keep the flood of pups down. And 1-3 shards would be a better thing for balance than stones. I even find it a little difficult to browse through the pups for one I like because there’s just. So. Many. And most are color schemes that just won’t go, the only reason any would sell would be g2 or a cool/low ID for besprinkling. It also leaves me not wanting to release my wolf for 500 when theres a chance I could get more like 3-5k potentially.
I support this! With den space being limited (even if it's like 500 spaces if you max out your den), incentivising releasing wolves would help curb this problem. Especially because den expansions cost moonstones, which severely limits a ftp user from acquiring the amount of wolves they want.
I do disagree on the moonstone chance. If anything, it should be shards and it should be limited to just 1 shard around level 8-10. Maybe once level caps increase it can add a chance for an additional shard every 5 levels?. However, I think that just a pebble increase is fine on its own.
support, this is going to be absolutely necessary as the site progresses-- there needs to be a way to remove wolves from the site and it has to be worth it to players. people will release wolves as they don't sell, sure, but it should be a flow. I also disagree with the moonstone chance, however I do enjoy Kier's suggestion of having a chance of getting a shard or two around level 8 to 10!
support but only when adult wolf prices stabilize enough that a newbie could buy at least 1 in their first day reliably. introducing it right now will drive adult wolf prices up for a while which will make it harder to get into the game
so yes but be careful on the timing
[though i frankly have a feeling they have thought about this and that's Why the payouts aren't higher yet]
Big support, although I personally think the chance for moonstone shards should be present at any level, in order to entice people to release wolves. Perhaps higher levels increases the chance and the amount of shards that could drop (so as a very flat example, lv1 and 2 would have a 2% chance to drop 1 shard, lv 3 and 4 have a 3% chance to drop 1 or 2 shards, lv 5 and 6 hae a 4% chance to drop 1 to 3 shards etc. Steep example I know, but just to show what I mean)
