Support. This will also benefit new and more casual players by allowing them to sell pups for a higher “minimum” price than like, 1kp, making it easier for them to get started.
Big agree here, I think its especially important for the future economy of the site. as it stands now I first joined around mid may, not too long after the game opened to the public, pups were cheap at around 2-3 ms but adults, even the ugly ones, usually sold for 5 or more. now just weeks later both new pups and adults alike are going for 1 ms each. Supply is just going to keep going up with the aforementioned low breeding cooldowns and so it's only natural that demand can't keep up so prices are going to keep lowering.
I know the comparison to flight rising is a tiresome one, but the dominance really is an excellent way to control supply and demand, and its also mostly user run. Even though dragons in that game are one of the most plentiful assets in the game selling dragons is still one of the best ways to make money. Theres always the built in demand for dragons because theres always at least one faction who wants what your selling, but theres also a push and pull. there are weeks where dragons are cheap, then there are weeks where the fodder prices are inflated because of a fierce battle. so there are times when both newbies seeking cheap starter dragons and veterans seeking to make a tidy profit are both winning.
in lorwolf only the buyer wins and as stated before it becomes difficult to separate the pups/adults worthy of buying from the, let's be frank, extremely ugly ones. as the site continues there will only be more and more awful color combos being generated from litters and WW alike. Its hard to imagine there being a very healthy market for wolves without some kind of reason to get people to want even the ugly ones.
maybe another option could be site wide events? like it could use the activity system like the weekly events only the rewards are issued when you pass a certain threshold wolves released (and higher levels would count for more wolves something like that). knowing when it would be would incentivize people to save up or buy pups in anticipation and the week of there would be a nice flushing of the system. and people not interested in the prizes would have a chance to cash in instead.
