(Ok so there is only one other rp thread so far so I thought maybe I'd try to kick start a second one, I'm shocked that there's not been a lot of roleplay threads so far, lets hope that changes soon! If this is not ok at all, or If there Is anything that needs to change please let me know! I am fairly new to Lorwolf and I'm not in the know of much, I just thought this would be a fun idea!)

Welcome to The Moon'Glow Pack, a brand new wolf pack/community for beginners and veterans alike!

Sunlight has recently started to fade from the lands of the Glowing Isles. Once a bright and sunny Island filled with life has become a dark and gloomy place. Shut off and disconnected from the other nations. The many small and large packs that were once scattered have begun gathering around the largest part of the main Island, some believe this is because the other packs fear what will become of their territories without enough sunlight to keep the flora and wildlife healthy. The main Island has a large cave with plenty of Mushrooms and a strong water source to keep the pack safe In shelter and fed enough for the time being. There Is still some light In this area, but will It be enough? One pack to rule over them all has just been formed and led by a powerful Queen, This pack Is known as The Moon'Glow Pack. Will you choose to join and try to find a way to save the Island from unending darkness? Or will you become an enemy of the pack, a rogue hoping to make a name of yourself. A villain, a Hero or just a wondering soul? This my friend Is up to you.

Rules:

• Follow Forum Etiquette
• This rp Is a bit of a mixed bag, some Lorwolf lore may be used but we will also be going off script. Feel free to follow the true lore for this rp If you would prefer though! The Glowing Isle Is however not apart of the Lore at all.
• Lets all be nice and keep everything friendly, you can have oc's that don't like each other but for now lets not have any fighting.
• This will be a fairly chill rp, there will be some storyline but It's mostly just to get everyone comfy with rp here.
• Your wolf or Lorwolf Oc may have a profession similar to within the game. There will be some set roles and some open roles.
• You do not need perfect grammar I clearly do not have It xD as long as we can understand you It should be fine.
• Please use // or () for OOC Out of character talking. for example (Welcome to The Moon'Glow Pack!)
• You are welcome to have your oc be a built in pack member or have them go through the proccess of joining the pack. That Is totally up to you!
• Your wolves can have families and pups but this is a family friendly space so keep it pg!
• Feel free to make character sheets, I am not sure If I can make a character sheet thread but If I can I will for sure!
• The limited Ranks will be first come first served for the time being. I may add a ranking system to give others the chance to become a limeted rank but I'm not sure yet.
• If I think of any more rules I'll add them here!

(We wont be doing Alpha and Luna/Alpha female here I hope that Is alright we are going to be doing King and Queen. Currently there will only be one ruler, Queen Xilva)

Queen: Xilva(SirenSolis) (Only one person can have this rank at a time.)

General: Loki Halestrom(ChalleBelle) (This is the second In command and the Queens friend. They work together. There can be only one)

Guardian: Axestrike(Bronzewing) Open (A wolf that protects the Queen and royal family. There can be up to three of these.)

Guardian Apprentice: Open (They are learning to become Guardians. 3 Max)

Sage: Dango(SirenSolis) Open (This is the Packs healers. There can be up to 2)

Sage Apprentice: Hecate(Demonic fox27) Petal(Blackwren) Open (They are learning to become a Sage and aid the Sages. 2 Max)

Soldier: Rye(Blackwren) Open (They work mostly for the General. They protect the Pack from attackers or rogues. Unlimited)

Gathers: Ash(Blackwren)Open (They gather for the pack, materials for those with professions to use, they often explore the Island for trinkets and Items of value. Unlimited)

Hunters: Open (They hunt for food to feed the pack, they sometimes fish also. Unlimited)

Den Mothers: Sierra(Blackwren) Open (Wolves that look after pups and sometimes help care for the sick/elderly. Max 5)

Workers: Abalone(Briar) Open (These are wolves that have professions, they can mine, craft, farm, cook and sometimes fish. Unlimited)

Trainees: Open (Young adult wolves that are still learning and trying to figure out what role/rank they wish to have. Unlimited)

Pups: Urchin(Me) (These are pups who are learning under a Den mother. Unlimited)

Rogues: Open (These are wolves In smaller packs or living alone that either are against the Moon'Glow pack or don't want the Island to be saved. They are considered the Villian's but that may not be true for every rogue. Unlimited)

Loners: Open Coldsnap(Cactuschowder), Lynn Nightsong(Demonic fox27) (These are wolves that have yet to join or just prefer to be alone. They can be friendly with the pack but not with rogue packs. They usually live alone or in small family packs. Unlimited)

(You are welcome to suggest different ranks or even have no rank. Those who are rankless will be known as Trainees or Workers however for the time being If they are living with the main pack.)

Queen Xilva and her close friend Dango started The Moon'Glow pack together. They had previously been a part of the reining pack that ruled over a lot of the Island but that pack had fallen apart with the disappearance of Xilva's mother who was the previous ruler. The two had long been traveling the Island together searching for the lost Queen Moa when the Sunlight began to disappear. Believing this to be connected to the disappearance of her mother, Xilva rushed into action. Gathering as many wolves as she could the young Queen brought her new pack to the Moonlit caverns, a giant cave with plenty of space for the entirety of the Isle's wolf population. Xilva tried to keep the Island's inhabitants mentality afloat, stopping the mass panic that had erupted for the time being. With a natural born sense of leadership and a vision for a brighter future Xilva has slowly begun to bring a feeling of safety and hope to the Island. Will this hope live on? Or will It be short lived?

Family/Friends: Queen Xilva(best friend)

Personality: Lively and excitable this small Zerda's big personality can be a tad too much for some wolves. She is a very intelligent wolf and has a vast knowledge of herbs and healing prayers. She often can act as others Mascot helping them to have confidence. Even If she does not get along with a wolf Dango Is always kind and friendly, although she Is prone to speaking her mind. Dango has a pet frog named Webster who can often be seen sitting on her back.

Description: Small but with the bravery of a larger wolf. She often doesn't realise how small she actually Is. Dango has hazelnut coloured eyes and pink striped white and green fur. She Is named Dango after a treat(She's my actual lorwolf xD) Dango Is often seen with muddy paws. She likes to forage for herbs.

Back story: Dango has no recollection of her family. All she remembers Is being brought to apprentice under an old Sage who later took her under his wing as his adopted pup. She was told later In her life that she had been chosen due to a clear sight ability that she holds, an ability to be granted visions from the gods. This ability Is what prompted Dango and the Queen to start a new pack. She was granted a vision of the future, one that showed the Queen and her pack walking out from a cave into sunlight.

"Mother.. Where are you? I can't do this alone!" A tall and elegant female Bracchus stared out Into what once was a deep blue and wonderful ocean, now all she could see was the resemblance of crashing waves falling against a cliffside. A deep sigh followed her sorrowful words. The Young Queen couldn't understand why her mother the past Queen had suddenly disappeared, what had happened to make her leave everything behind the way she did? The grey furred mother was not one to abandon her heir, her only pup, her reason for living. Just as Xilva felt her emotions come crashing over her forcing her into a state of tearfulness a familiar voice called out to her. "

Dango ~ Upper Caverns looking out to the Sea

Xilvy everything's going to be just fine! I promise! The gods would never lead us estray!" Dango hopped up In an attempt to nudge the much larger wolf, only just managing to bump her head into the Bracchus's white furred chest. "Get down here you giant!" With a pink stiped tail wagging faster than the eye could keep up with Dango's excitable nature was always a breath of fresh air for the calm and often solemn natured Queen. Her cute attempts to reach Xilva's height earned a smile from The Queen, Dango's task had been completed. "A smile a day keeps the darkness away! Remember."

"Foolish Sage. Your antics never fail to soothe me. Sometimes It feels as If you know the moment I start to feel down." Watching a chuckle erupt from Dango, Xilva couldn't help but find It contagious, softly chuckling along side the Zerda. "I'm fine, don't worry dear. I just need a moment. Could you go down Into the lower caverns and check on the others?I need a moment alone. I appreciate your company though my friend.

The Zerda's excited grin fell, worry filling the Sage's gaze. "Alright, but please.. Xilvy, don't let the sadness over take you. I believe that your mother will come home. We will find a way to save this Island, I know we will. If you let yourself become blinded by the darkness how will you ever see the light when It Is right In front of you? C'mon, cheer up Queenie. I'll get going, try not to worry ok?" Xilva nodded, giving Dango one more slow smile before Dango walked back the way she came, through the darker hall and into a pitch black room of stone. By this point she knew her way around without needing light, this section of the Upper Caverns was lived in only by the Queen and her Guardians. The Upper Caverns was ususally filled with dens and storages for the higher ranking wolves, the area being smaller than the Lower Caverns and having less light. Dango hummed as she walked past a guardian and climbed down a slope that exited out Into the Lower caverns. An earthy scent overtook the scent of stone and air, trickling water filling the little Zerda's ears. Finally some light poured into the pitch darkness, allowing Dango to see the rest of her way through the halls. She could see the stream now, It followed the path out into the Caves exit. Instead of carrying on towards the exit and the Caves mouth Dango took a left turn and walked into a very large room filled with workers. "MORNING EVERYONE! What are we crafting today? We got any more Mushroom pies? Webster would like some pie, so would I now that I think about it. Hello?? Why Is everyone so gloomy today?"

She is a intelligent and analytical kit. Since she lost her mother rather early she had to grow up fast and is more mature than most wolves. However she is also judgmental and quick to judge. She can be pretty insecure, due to her wounds. She is withdrawn and doesn’t really speak much with others about how she feels. She is also introverted and prefers to be alone. She doesn’t like it to draw too much attention towards her.

Description:

She has an average height and build for a kit. Her fur is black. She has blue, foxlike markings. She is blind and has scars around her eyes. She usually wears a blindfold to hide these scars.

Backstory: Her mother Morgana was a loner. She was her only pup and never met her father. Morgana didn’t really spoke about him. Sometimes they struggled a bit, but all in all she had a good, happy life. That was until some rogues attacked them. She doesn’t know, why they did that. She was lucky and got away, but not without being hurt. Her mother however was not so lucky. She was quite lost on her own, but after some time she found the Moonglow Pack and joined them as a Sage Apprentice.

Gender: Male (He/Him)

Rank: General

Family/Friends: Queen Xilva (He wouldn't consider "friend" exactly, more an admiration and sense of obligation to her as General), Dango (due to the closeness with the Queen, he also rather enjoys Dango's unfaltering optimism)

Description: Lithe yet solidly fit, neatly trim black and green fur. Browns eyes that can display fierceness in battle but melt into a kind understanding when at ease.

Personality: Dutiful and sometimes rigid in demeanor, Loki tends to focus all he does around his orders and from a sense of protection for Moon'Glow Pack. Beneath his armored exterior, he has a heart of gold and truly wants what is best for the health and safety of all. In times of peace, even the fleeting moments, he is known to be a great storyteller and loves a good laugh. Disciplined and determined, he will lay his life on the line for his Queen and packmates.

Backstory: Abandoned as a pup due to famine, Loki learned to survive in the wild. At some point he was found by the Moon'Glow Pack garrison, and over the years rose through the ranks due to his physical aptitude and undying loyalty. Now a General, he swears on his lifeblood to always do what is right and keep all those who look to the Queen safe and secure.

Loki Halestrom - Upper Caverns

After seeing Dango's expression as she made her way to the Lower Caverns, Loki decided to check in on Queen Xilva.

"My Queen." Loki speaks softly as he bows before approaching. "There seems to be an awfully ominous cloud above us all this day. Even Dango's ever-present grin seems to have faltered."

Loki almost silently steps closer to the Queen's side, keeping a two-foot respectful distance despite being told numerous times he need not be so formal. He takes a look at Xilva's face, and sees flickers of her pain emanating from her crystalline eyes.

"Oh, tut tut My Queen. Heavy is the crown upon the wearer, no matter the state of their kingdom, yes? Must not let the darkness weigh too greatly. I remember the shadows of my youth, and all it took was a single small flame stoked by your warriors who found me to ignite my hope. There cannot be light without the darkness, and it is always darkest before dawn. Fret not, My Queen, we will have our dawn again someday."

Loki rustles through his small pack and pulls out a very shiny golden apple and places it in front of Xilva.

"A token for you, from my morning patrol. I wish there was more abundance to bring back for all, yet only two I found. And I will admit, I enjoyed one for myself. I think you will like it, the shimmering skin conceals a juicy sweetness the like of fruit pies and holiday treats."

Queen Xilva ~ Upper Caverns

Shaking the remainder of a sorrow filled sigh away, Xilva turned to look upon The General. She couldn't hide her emotions well In such a short time but she could try right? "Ohh.. Loki! I didn't hear you coming, well of course not you are our most esteemed General for a reason, for many reasons." A low energy chuckle followed the queens words. The young female knew that Loki admired her but what he may not have realised was that she too admired him, for his courage, for his kindness and his bravery even In the face of darkness. The male had been through so much as a pup It often made Xilva realise how lucky she was and how selfish she could be. She had never needed for anything, she had never starved, or had to fight or had to protect someone, her might came purely from her mind, her words, and her social elegance.

A look of shock widened In Xilva's pale eyes. "Dango? My Dango? Oh dear, I must really be In a state If I've upset even dearest Dango." Her words were light and hearty this time, the pain that she failed to hide within her gaze slowly beginning to falter. "Don't worry about me General Halestrom, you have known me for too long now. I always bounce back from these bouts of self doubt that I suffer with. Honestly I don't have much choice, It's hard to be sad around the little Zerda. Thank you for the advice general. It must have been the gods will to bring you to me. I truly would not be able to rule this pack without you."

Queen Xilva watched quietly as the general pulled a Golden Apple from his pack. A sweet smile pulled at the edges of her maw. Xilva considered refusing the apple, Loki had worked hard and had found It himself, however she could not refuse such a gesture and honestly adored the flavour of a golden Apple. Prehaps he was aware of that. "Thank you general. What a kind token, I will glady except." Savouring the taste The Queen's grin widened. "Wonderful. Oh.. General Halestom, do you have any news from your patrol? I believe I heard whispers of rouges near the territory. But honestly I'm not really made aware of these sorts of things until I need to be made aware." She watched the male with piqued curiosity.

Loki Halestrom - Upper Caverns

Loki flashes a small smile.

"I am glad you enjoyed it, My Queen." His face then returns to a more serious look. "Your ears are as sharp as your mind, there indeed have been rumors of rogues being sighted at the borders of our territory. I took a small squadron and did a full sweep of the areas, and we came upon a small abandoned camp. Not much remained save for a few bones and an extinguished fire. Judging by cool charred coals and damp soil, no wolf had been there in at least 3 days."

Loki tilts his head slightly, looking to the side in contemplation.

"Unfortunately none of us could determine where they went, or if they were even rogues and not just a travelling party. With so many unknowns, I felt it best to not alarm you or any others until a potential threat is identified. As I see it, whoever they were could be far away from us now, or potentially among us. With so many refugees coming and going, I fear the possibility of rogues in disguise could easily go unnoticed."

He sits up straight, looking Xilva in the eyes.

"I have a few wolves I know can be trusted, if you approve I can send them amongst our numbers and keep a close eye on those who are new just to be safe. If there is an infiltrator, they will surely sniff them out."
